Our Anthracite self-adhesive bonding fleece is soft and easily adapts to any upholstery. We recommend it for use on upholstery which sees moderate to normal stress. For stiffer foam for larger cut pieces and high-stress positioned upholstery, we could recommend our firm white version.
Self-adhesive fleece backing is designed to prevent seat indentations and keep your leather looking its best for longer, even under the most strenuous conditions. It is used by OEM manufacturers to create a softer touch and to increase tensile strength in order to reduce bagging. It also eliminates the need to glue foam or wool backing for that soft touch. The 3M Self adhesive foam lets you do what the OEMs do without the expensive heat laminating machine or tools.
No storage in full sun, remove protection foil of adhesive web before lamination. The flexibility of the Material can cause variations of the dimensional stability due to the manufacturing process. The material is storable for maximum 6 month. Do not store under 5°C or over 30°C. Ideal temperature for processing: 15-30°C, temper material before application where applicable.
