These European hides are Chrome tanned and then drum dyed with anilines that are resistant to washing. The leather is washed 2 times at 60 degrees centigrade, then the surface is dyed with pigments that are resistant to atmospheric conditions.

The result is an antimicrobial water resistant leather that is suitable for outdoor and marine use. A very durable and lightfast leather for use in many conditions, and particularly popular for Marine, industrial and automotive use.
