Job Title: Sales Administrator

Job Description:


Position Overview:

As a Sales Administrator at Hydes Leather, you will play a vital role in supporting our sales team and ensuring the smooth operation of our business day-to-day. This position is a blend of administrative tasks and sales support, requiring excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a customer-centric approach. - it could evolve into a more sales focussed role for the right candidate. If you are a car enthusiast or have some knowledge of the automotive world, it would be a huge bonus!


Key Responsibilities:


Answering Phones: Respond to customer inquiries, provide product information, and assist with orders and general questions from customers. Tracking calls and contacts in our CRM.


Order Processing: Efficiently process orders, manage order logistics, and ensure timely delivery to customers. Dealing with couriers and customs promptly when issues arise. 


Sample Management: Prepare and send samples to potential customers, and follow up to ensure customers are satisfied.


Customer Outreach: Reach out to customers to offer support, provide updates, and maintain positive relationships.


Email Enquiries: Respond promptly to email inquiries, addressing customer requests and resolving any issues that may occur in their order process. Writing email newsletters.


Administrative Support: Assist with the organization of sales and marketing team activities, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars and to-do lists, updating CRMs and preparing documents. This role may evolve into making outbound sales once you are trained and comfortable in the position.

 

Sales follow up: Nurturing leads and current customers. This position could develop into a more sales-focussed role for the right candidate. 


Qualifications:


Strong communication skills, both written and verbal - you must speak fluent English. 


Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.


Customer service-oriented with a positive mindset, ensuring a positive customer experience.


Technologically minded and able to learn new software (training will be provided) - we are an Shopify-based ecommerce business so it is critical you are a quick learner and understand technology to a degree. 


Previous experience with social media (Instagram, Facebook and YouTube) and Shopify an asset.


Previous experience in administrative support and sales is a plus but we are willing to train the right candidate.


Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and adapt to changing priorities.


A genuine passion for cars or automotive culture is a big bonus - our customers live and breathe cars (and boats, bikes and planes!), and we are also a team of car nuts!
